Custer Rod and Gun Club’s rifle range is located in the Bergerson Ranchettes subdivision north of Miles City on the Kinsey Hwy. (Hwy. 489) At these facilities you’ll find a clubhouse, a 200 yard rifle range with covered shooting benches and target boards from 25 to 200 yards, there is also a 100 yard rifle/pistol range with non-covered shooting benches and target boards from 25 to 100 yards.

The range is open from sunrise to sunset and is an uncontrolled range with no Range or Safety Officers. Access is now granted to members through the gated entrance via an electronic card reader lock. When persons purchase a membership they are issued a personal proximity card (key card) that is registered to them. This proximity card will unlock the gate to allow members to enter or leave the rifle range, as well as track who is using the range and if they leave the gate open, etc.

Please, see this link for more information about the new electronic gate and key cards: RIFLE RANGE GATE

Shotguns are allowed in designated areas ONLY. Exploding targets are not allowed at this range!
