In talking to the fire commisioner we can use the rifle range as long as we are willing to use caution and have the proper equipment.
Please have a bucket and shovel and possibly some other fire suppresion device. Smoking is allowed in vehicles only and extinguish there also.The fire season is not over but it will be nice to have our facility to use.
The meeting this month will be at Spotted Eagle on the 21st.

We are waiting for the rifle range to reopen soon. The weather looks to keep us closed until we are not seeing redflag warnings daily.
I will touch base with the fire commisioner again early next week before the meeting to determine what course of action we might take.

By order of the Custer County board of commissioners the Sunday Creek Rifle RAnge will be closed until further notice. Fire Danger is at an all time high, and fires continue.
August 11: Holy Rosary Hospital is sponsoring a trap shooting event at the Trap Range at Spotted Eagle. All skill levels welcome. Prizes, fun matches and food available. Contact Jackie at Holy Rosary for more details.
July 28: Come shoot in the Erin’s Hope charity event. Archery fun for all on the archery range at Spotted Eagle. Join us! See Ron Hurr for details.
July 19: Open shooting for ladies trap shooting. Let us introduce you to the fun of trap shooting. Birds, some guns and ammo provided.
July 17: Archery League begins. See Ron Hurr for details.
The trap range is open on Wednesdays at 5:00 PM and Sundays at 1:00 PM.
And league night is on Wednesday.
